    Afghan Hound

    Belgian Malinois.

Origin. Withdrawn in 1891, the Belgian veterinary school, which, together with his brothers Highgate Burt tried to systematize all known at that time in Belgium breed dogs. This breed is also known as Shepherd Malin.

    Working Dogs - Belgian Malinois

Description. The least graceful of all the Belgian Shepherd dog. They are characterized by short hair is yellowish-brown hair with black tips and black mask. Malinois resembles a smaller German shepherd. Height 60 cm Weight: 24-27 lbs.

Ears erect. Brown eyes and bulging. Hind legs completely straight. There is another variety of the Belgian Shepherd - lakenua, which is characterized by a rigid coat fawn with black spots.

Application. Malinois - hardy dog. They tolerate poor weather and is suitable for every job. First of all, it's great shepherds who also manifest themselves as excellent guard dogs, showing even more diligence than the German Shepherd.

To use Malinois guard dog as they need to train in order to curb the innate aggressiveness. Like its close relatives - and gryunendal Tervuren - Malinois, to stay in shape, needs long walks and a strictly controlled diet.
